AOL seeks cable partners to lift sales

America Online, the internet subsidiary of Time Warner, is in talks with several leading cable groups, including Comcast, about partnerships aimed at boosting subscriber and audience numbers.

AOL, which is rolling out its first such alliance with sister company Time Warner Cable, hopes similar deals will secure more broadband customers.
