Boeing sees two years of strong growth

Boeing forecast on Wednesday strong sales growth and rising profitability for the next two years, supported by a record order backlog for commercial aircraft.

The US aerospace and defence group increased its deliveries of commercial aircraft by 37 per cent last year to 398 and on Wednesday forecast big rises to between 440 and 445 aircraft in 2007 and to between 515 and 520 in 2008.
