EU court rules on suspected terror funds

Funds which are suspected of having terrorism links cannot be frozen without the owners having a fair hearing, Europe’s highest court has ruled.

The decision by the European Court of Justice came in a case involving Saudi businessman Yassin Abdullah Kadi and the Al Barakaat International Foundation, which was established in Sweden.
