SABMiller sees sales reviving

SABMiller suggested spending cutbacks on alcohol may be coming to an end in spite of a 1 per cent drop in lager volumes for its first half to September 30.

The owner of brands such as Grolsch and Castle lager pointed to improving sales in Poland, the Czech Republic and Colombia, and said its half-year performance was in line with expectations.
