Dairy Farmers bids face regulatory checks

Australia’s competition regulator is this week due to give its first assessment of potential bids for Dairy Farmers, one of the country’s biggest producers of milk and dairy products.

The co-operative, wholly owned by Australian farmers, is expected to fetch up to A$1bn (US$960m).
