Spanish hotel groups to join forces

Spanish hotel groups NH and Hesperia on Monday called a truce after six years of conflict, agreeing to pool their hotels into one management company.

The two companies, which own or operate mainly urban hotels in Spain and abroad, said the accord would “generate significant synergies both at income and expenditure level”. They said the deal would create “the largest Spanish hotel group within the urban segment”.
