Clarke proposes ban on 15 ‘terror organisations’

Charles Clarke, the home secretary, proposed on Monday the banning of 15 international terror organisations, putting forward a draft bill to Parliament under the 2000 Terrorism Act.

The ban is subject to approval by both houses of parliament and will be debated by MPs and peers later this week.
