Formula One teams, sponsors and rights holders will on Saturday get a clearer idea of the future of the troubled championship when the world motorsport’s member clubs vote on the candidate they want to succeed Max Mosley as president of the governing body.
The choice is between Jean Todt, ex-team boss of Ferrari, and former rally champion Ari Vatanen in an election that has become engulfed in the type of rancour and accusation that has plagued F1 throughout the season.
