PM insists gay rights recognised in Poland

Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Poland’s prime minister, on Wednesday launched an operation to repair his government’s battered reputation in the west, insisting during a visit to Brussels he was committed to upholding human rights.

On his first foreign visit as prime minister, Mr Kaczynski invited journalists to visit the country’s gay clubs and said there were gay politicians in “very high political positions”.
