GSK says investors targeted by extremists

Animal rights extremists turned their campaign of intimidation on to small private investors yesterday, sending letters to shareholders in GlaxoSmithKline.

The move represents the first time that individual shareholders in the pharmaceuticals industry have been targeted by the militants. The letters, which were sent to the homes of GSK shareholders, warn that their details will be posted on the internet unless they sell their shares within a fortnight.
