Tories plan more flexible working

The Conservatives are heading for a further confrontation with business after proposing that the right to request flexible working be extended to all parents.

David Cameron, the Conservative leader, said on Tuesday that support for family life was one of the hallmarks of a more inclusive party that was “talking about issues that people really cared about”.
