Storm concerns push oil higher

Crude oil prices surged on Tuesday amid fears that tropical storm Fay might move from Florida to threaten oil and gas rigs in the Gulf of Mexico.

Fay is the sixth storm of the 2008 Atlantic season and could gain strength once it emerged over the Atlantic, meteorologists warned.
