I was introduced to an interesting website called Sodarace (www.sodarace.net) a few weeks ago, and have to confess that I've quickly become a bit of an addict.

Explaining the site isn't an easy task. At the most obvious level, you could say it's a place where humans and artificial intelligences compete to build and race robots in a virtual world, but in truth it is much more than that.
