US textile importers and the Hong Kong companies that supply them are steeling themselves for the possibility of antidumping cases on Chinese-made textiles inthe US.
Less than a month after the US Commerce Department began an investigation into whether shipments of certain types of textiles from China were disrupting the US market--the first step towards introducing safeguards--importers, manufacturers and their lawyers say there is increasing concern that the US industry may next pursue antidumping cases.
