US approval of pets drug boosts Dechra

Heroin addicts and pets in pain have boosted revenues at Dechra Pharmaceuticals as it anticipates a fillip in sales by marketing its Vet­oryl drug in the US.

Vetoryl is used to treat glandular disorders in dogs and, in December, Dechra received permission from the Food and Drug Administration to market the drug in the US.
