Mobility is a word that’s used everywhere in the IT world today. It touches many aspects of business technology, from work-life balance through to the complexity of virtualised laptops and hypervisors (I learnt a lot about these on a trip to HP Labs a few days ago).
As the world leaders in mobility jet into Barcelona to attend Mobile World Congress for its regular week of navel and crystal ball gazing, perhaps we need to ask just what “mobility” amounts to.
