Hollinger and Sun-Times settle disputes

(Reuters) - The Sun-Times Media Group, a former cornerstone in Conrad Black’s old newspaper empire, said Tuesday it has agreed to settle various disputes and litigation with its controlling shareholder, Hollinger Inc.

Hollinger also agreed to pay $21.3m to settle charges it engaged in a scheme to divert money from the Sun-Times, the US Securities and Exchange Commission said.
