Deal fails to win over gaming groups

Monday’s compensation deal with the European Union over closure of the US internet gambling market is unlikely to reduce pressure for the US to relax its online gaming laws.

It also fails to calm fears among trade experts concerned about the impact on the rules-based trading system of Washington’s decision to renege on prior trade commitments.
