Mark Cuban accused of insider trading

Mark Cuban, the billionaire entrepreneur and owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, was accused on Monday of insider trading by US regulators.

In a civil lawsuit, the Securities and Exchange Commission claimed Mr Cuban sold his holding in an internet search engine company called Mamma.com within four hours of being told confidential information about an impending stock offering in 2004.
