The execution-style killing of six Italian men in western Germany on Wednesday marked the first time a Mafia feud in Italy’s Calabria region had spread outside the country, Italian police said.

The shooting occurred as the six men, aged between 16 and 38, left an Italian restaurant in Duisburg, north of Düsseldorf, at about 2.30 in the morning. Two suspected attackers were seen running from the scene, German police said.
