DSG profits slide in ‘challenging’ market

The recession continues to gnaw on profits at DSG, Europe’s second-largest electrical retailer, as it reported falling sales and plummeting profits on Thursday.

The news comes just one day after rival Kesa, Europe’s third-largest electrical goods retailer, reported a 6 per cent in like-for-like sales for the year.
