EU ‘cannot cut farm tariffs further’

John Bruton, the European Union ambassador to Washington, has said the EU has gone as far as it can in offering to reduce tariffs on its agricultural imports, making clear to the US and other trading partners that they cannot look to Brussels to break the impasse in the Doha round of trade talks.
