NHS patients rate care highly

Just 2 per cent of patients rate the overall care they receive in hospital as "poor", with nine out of 10 declaring it to be "good", "very good" or "excellent", the Healthcare Commission's annual survey of 80,000 NHS patients has shown.

But a fifth of patients still say they get too little information about their treatment or condition and 22 per cent did not say they were "always" treated with dignity and respect.
