India’s budget to boost rural companies

Companies active in India’s rural market have gained favour among the country’s stockpickers this week following a national budget aimed squarely at boosting rural consumption.

Low-price personal and household goods, vehicles and seed manufacturers are viewed as some of the beneficiaries of measures to put more money into the pockets of farmers.
