Online ordering helps Office stride ahead

Office, the fashion footwear chain, has emerged as one of the few clothing retailers to have escaped the fall-out of the consumer squeeze with rising sales and profits.

The company, owned by Sir Tom Hunter’s West Coast Capital, recorded a sharp increase in annual pre-tax profit from £3.6m to £5.5m, driven in particular by the growth of online transactions.
