Republicans stoke tax rebellion

Republicans sought to stoke a grassroots rebellion on Monday against Barack Obama’s economic plans.

Conservative activists have held anti-tax “tea parties” in several cities across the US over recent days, inspired by the protest at Boston harbour two centuries ago that helped spark the American revolution.
