‘Pay what you want’ on restaurant menu

A restaurateur in London has come up with a radical way of keeping his eatery afloat during the credit crunch: for one month only Peter Ilic will do away with bills and invite customers to decide what to pay.

Tearing up tabs during February, Mr Ilic said he had launched a “pay what you think it’s worth” month to cheer up cash-strapped consumers at his Little Bay restaurant in Farringdon.
