Key collections add bite to new UK museum

The labours of Victorian scholars are combined with the latest graphic technology at the UK’s newest visitor attraction, which opens its doors to the public on Saturday.

The Great North Museum in Newcastle houses internationally important collections from three museums, including the greatest selection of artefacts from nearby Hadrian’s Wall, once the northernmost boundary of the Roman empire and now a World Heritage site.
