US ‘sees no sign’ of N Korea shutdown

The US has seen no intelligence suggesting North Korea has started shutting down its nuclear reactor at Yongbyon, according to a senior US official late Tuesday.

The official was responding to South Korea media reports that North Korea appeared to be taking steps to shut down the reactor, the source of its weapons-grade plutonium.
