LSE offers standard ticket on trip to market

From next week, a handful of UK public companies are expected to start trying to take advantage of a rule change making them eligible for a less rigorous class of listing while still remaining on the main London Stock Exchange.

These companies specifically lobbied the Financial Services Authority to speed up its long-planned revamp of the listing rules and make UK companies immediately eligible to float down to the newly renamed “standard listing”.
