Shirtmaker has his work cut out for him

Robert Boyd Bowman describes his decision to buy the shirtmaker Rayner & Sturges as a “necessary evil”.

Manufacturing in the UK is “hard work”, he concedes. But he felt he had no choice but to buy the company that supplies the shirts for his bespoke City clothing retailer Alexander Boyd.
