Cruz ally quits at Morgan Stanley

Jonathan Chenevix-Trench has quit as chief operating officer of Morgan Stanley’s institutional securities business as the fall-out from the Wall Street bank’s subprime mortgage losses continues.

Mr Chenevix-Trench, one of the bank’s most senior non-Americans, was head of Morgan Stanley’s European operations until the summer.
