Airport hotels: Top flight names set to establish a new breed

There cannot be many business travellers who enthuse about staying overnight in an airport hotel. But this may change as the trend for a new type of slick, leisure-focused and service-orientated airport hotel grows.

In the fairly recent past, many frequent travellers avoided airport hotels with good reason. Overpriced and impersonal were two of the nicest things one could to say about these airless, double-glazed monuments to Lego-style architecture.
