A BBC children's television presenter was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder and of supplying class A drugs after the body of his girlfriend was discovered in the bath at their north London flat.

Mark Speight, 42, one of the presenters of the arts programme SMart on the CBBC children's channel, was released on bail while police await the results of a postmortem examination on Natasha Collins, 31.
