Too soon for stimulus exit plans, says GE head

A senior executive at General Electric is warning governments not to withdraw their stimulus packages too early if they want to avoid plunging the world back into recession.

Singling out China, Nani Beccalli – the head of GE International, who runs all of the conglomerate’s businesses outside the US – said he was worried that talk of governments preparing for exit strategies from the huge amount of cash they have poured into their economies was “premature”.
