US bank plan disappoints Asian markets

By Andrew Wood in Hong Kong

Disappointment with the latest US plans to save a troubled banking system sent shares lower across most of Asia Pacific on Wednesday, and news that China’s exports shrank at their fast rate in more than a decade further depressed the mood.
