The Financial Times today announced changes to its Global Production and Operations structure. Richard Boulton, who previously held the title Operations Director EMEA, has become Global Operations Director. Doug Morrow, who was previously Vice President Operations & Business Development, has been appointed Global Production and Distribution Director. Both appointments are effectively immediately.

Boulton will continue to oversee operations in the UK and CEMEA, and will add Asia, digital delivery, and our efforts to become more environmentally friendly to his portfolio. Boulton is based in London and reports to Greg Zorthian, Global Circulation Director.

Morrow will continue to oversee the U.S. operations and will add responsibility for quality, cost management, and reporting and measurement standards across all regions. Morrow is based in New York and also reports to Zorthian.

Greg Zorthian, Global Circulation Director, said: “These two FT veterans have played an integral role in developing the paper’s highly effective global print and distribution operation. Their wealth of industry knowledge and experience will continue to deliver immediate results to the Financial Times and extend further our market leadership.”
