Integrated religious schools open after private donors step in

Two new Northern Ireland schools, which were refused government finance to take both Protestant and Roman Catholic pupils, are opening this week, funded by private donations.

Rowallane Integrated College in County Down, and Clogher Valley Integrated Primary in County Tyrone, are being funded by the Integrated Education Fund, a charity set up in 1992 supported by private donations from Northern Ireland and overseas.
