BSkyB to control ad sales for MTV

British Sky Broadcasting has scooped up advertising sales duties for Viacom’s MTV channels in a further consolidation of broadcasters’ television ad sales houses.

Viacom had previously used its own internal team, Viacom Brand Solutions, to sell ad space between programmes on MTV International channels, which are shown on Sky pay-TV.
