Creditors sweeten Wind Hellas bid

Creditors of Wind Hellas, the Greek mobile telephone operator, will put forward a sweetened €450m ($668m) bid in a last-ditch attempt to take over the company.

The battle over Wind Hellas, which is undergoing one of Europe’s biggest bond restructurings, has sparked a fierce debate over the rights of investors in risky debt and the impact it could have on future lending.
