Bush rebukes Russia over reforms

President George W. Bush rebuked Russia on Tuesday for backsliding on democratic reforms but dismissed fears that the west was slipping into a new cold war with Moscow.

Speaking in Prague at the start of a week-long visit to Europe, Mr Bush sought to ease tensions over US proposals to locate part of its proposed missile defence shield in central Europe.
