Conrad Black ally indicted on charges of $32m fraud

Conrad Black's closest confidant and an investment company that was controlled by the British peer were yesterday indicted on US criminal charges alleging a $32m (£18m) fraud.

A seven-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Chicago charged David Radler. Mr Radler was formerly the chief operating officer at Hollinger International, which was once controlled by Lord Black, the former media magnate.
