Israelis export skills to fight HIV

Israeli medical volunteers have begun exporting their expertise in adult male circumcision to sub-Saharan Africa, in a pioneering effort to help tackle spiralling HIV infections.

A small group of doctors and public health specialists are at work in Swaziland this weekend conducting a pilot programme designed to reduce significantly the time it takes to perform safe and low-cost circumcisions in large numbers of local men.
