S Korea scientist faked human research

Hwang Woo-suk, South Korea?s disgraced scientist offered an apology on Thursday after Seoul National University said earlier this week that had Mr Woo-suk fabricated both of his supposedly groundbreaking papers on human stem cell research, concluding an investigation that has dashed the hopes of sufferers of diseases such as Alzheimer?s and Parkinson?s.

However, Seoul National University said that Snuppy, the Afghan puppy that Mr Hwang claimed to have cloned in another landmark breakthrough, was genuine.
