Car bomb kills 35 in third hit on Lahore

At least 35 people were killed and nearly 300 injured when a car bomb exploded outside a police headquarters in Lahore, Pakistan’s second largest city.

Wednesday’s bombing was the third terrorist attack in Lahore in as many months as Islamist militants widen their violent insurgency to Punjab, the country’s most populous and politically powerful province.
