New Star Asset Management added to its litany of woes on Thursday when it was forced to suspend dealing in its Heart of Africa fund.
The fund, which has £29m of assets and was launched in the summer of 2007, has suffered from investor redemptions and poor liquidity in its investments in sub-Saharan Africa.
