Britain leads rest of Europe on job creation, says study

Britain outscores the rest of Europe when it comes to creating jobs and offers a better deal to workers than the US, according to a study published today.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development says the result of a decade of social reform has resulted in an "Anglo-social" model which combines American employment flexibility with a Scandanavian-style commitment to social equality.
