Multiple moves afoot to aid beleaguered J-Reits

Last week, a strange thing happened to New City Residence Investment, Japan’s first real estate investment trust to fail, on the way to its corporate rehabilitation.

A majority of NCRI’s creditors rejected the rehabilitation plan proposed by Lone Star, the US hedge fund, and supported by NCRI management.
