De La Rue wins currency contract extension

De La Rue will produce all of the Bank of England’s currency up to 2015, after the Bank agreed to extend a contract that accounts for about 5 per cent of group revenue.

Announcing its first preliminary results since radical reorganisation last year, the world’s largest banknote printer also announced a near-doubling of its full-year dividend, from 21.4p to 41.1p.
