Rating cut lowers M&S in London amid uncertainty

Marks & Spencer was among the fallers as a pall of uncertainty continued to erode last week’s record rally for the London market.

M&S was down 1.9 per cent to 233p after Deutsche Bank cut its rating to “hold” from “buy” ahead of the retailer’s trading statement on October 2.
